Dear Parents,

As we move into this Holy Week before Easter, I pray that you will take the time to reflect on the great blessing to all of us that Easter brings. The kids will be watching a movie in class this week called “Jesus” that walks us through some of His teachings, the events leading up to Good Friday,  His death, and Resurrection. Hopefully they will share with you each day what they saw, felt, and experienced  as they watch the events unfold and that it will bring a deeper appreciation and understanding of what Our Lord and Savior has done for us.

There will be no school Friday this week, in observation of Good Friday, and then Easter break is next week, with school resuming on Monday, April 12^th. As a reminder, we have a Sea World field trip coming up on Tuesday, April 20^th. I will be sending home permission slips the Monday we return, so keep an eye out for them and return them ASAP, as the trip is the following week. We’ve had such a great response in our classroom for the beach basket items as well as the 24 packs of chip bags. THANK YOU!!!  These are challenging times financially for all of us  and I appreciate all the extras you do, from donations, to classroom help, to field trip driving, and just your support in general. It is all very much appreciated.
