Meet the Teacher
Hello! I am Kristen Bauern and this is my third year at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Menifee! I am very blessed to be on staff here! I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and give some of my educational background. I grew up in Costa Mesa, California, and have attended Lutheran schools for the majority of my education. I am a graduate of Concordia University in Irvine, and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development. I have my California Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Masters degree in Education. I am a Called Lutheran teacher and feel blessed to be able to teach God’s Word. I taught Fifth Grade for four years at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Orange. My first year here at Good Shepherd I taught a Fifth & Sixth Grade combination class. My second year I taught a Sixth & Seventh Grade combination class. This year I will teach a Sixth & Seventh Grade combination class again. My husband, Mike, and I have been married for two years and live in Murrieta. We have a 3-month old Vizsla puppy named Riley. I am blessed to be a part of the family and ministry here at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church & School!
