Classroom Management Policy
Ms.Enos’ Classroom Behavior Rules
We are God’s servants when we:
- Show kindness
- Respect others and their property
- Are good listeners
- Follow directions
- Help one another
- Take responsibility for our actions
Consequences for breaking class rules:
1st offense- verbal warning. Move clip down to warning.
2nd offense- loss of 10 minutes of recess. Clip goes down to “Oops, Wrong Choice.
3rd offense- to principal’s office. Clip moves to “Danger Zone.” Note home to parents.
I have three incentives to reinforce good behavior in second grade:
- Whole class participation – marbles in the marble jar
- Table Teams participation and cooperation – team points resulting in a reward at the end of the week for team with most points
- Individual students – clip moves up to Watch Me Shine and/or tickets for outstanding behavior, helpfulness, cooperation, staying on task, etc.
