We welcome a new student, Vanessa, to our classroom!

Grandparent's Day was a great success!  Thank you to all who participated!

Our field trip to the Fire Station is this coming Friday, March 12.  Parents, make sure you have filled out the insurance paperwork that was sent home and return it ASAP.  We look forward to seeing you by 10:20 AM

  Please remember that if you ever have questions, concerns, or comments; my door is always open.  Also, feel free to call and leave me a message at x 229. 

Please remember to check your child's Go-Home Folder nightly.  This is often my way of communicating with you and it's very important to me to keep the lines of communication open. 

Part of their homework every night is to read their phonics book for 20 minutes.  This is the most important assignment that they will get all year.

 Check out the new page titled "Awesome Websites for 1st Graders".  I have looked online for many fun educational websites and these are top notch!  Check them out and let your child get hooked on learning!
