Welcome to First Grade with Miss Mello

Menifee Beach Club is Wednesday, June 9.  Be sure to fill out your permission slip and turn it with the $7 entrance/ lunch fee.  Kids who don't pay or turn in a permission slip should just be kept at home that day as there will be no one on campus.

Legoland is all set and we're excited to end our school year together at the park.  If you are driving or joining us that day, make sure you are in the classroom at 8:15 because we will leave at 8:30 sharp!  We plan on being back here at 4:30.

International Day Questions will be returned to you soon so that you can make any corrections.  Make sure to be finding/ making your other items, like the flag, souvenirs, a stamp or stickers for passports, and a food item (optional) from your country

  Please remember that if you ever have questions, concerns, or comments; my door is always open.  Also, feel free to call and leave me a message at x 229. 

Please remember to check your child's Go-Home Folder nightly.  This is often my way of communicating with you and it's very important to me to keep the lines of communication open. 

Part of their homework every night is to read their phonics book for 20 minutes.  This is the most important assignment that they will get all year.

 Check out the new page titled "Awesome Websites for 1st Graders".  I have looked online for many fun educational websites and these are top notch!  Check them out and let your child get hooked on learning!
