Hello and Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Loralyn Mello and I am proud to be teaching at Good Shepherd Lutheran School.  This is the start of my fifth year teaching, 4th at GSLS, and God has blessed me richly through my students.  I pray that God gives me many more years in the teaching profession and that I'm able to reach each and every student that walks through my door. 

I grew up in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and have been blessed to go to Lutheran schools from 1st grade up through college.  I received my Bachelors Degree and California Teaching Credential through Concordia University in Irvine and am still a student there today working towards a Masters Degree in Education.

          Playing Handbells with my church

          Working out at the gym
